The first decision to make after clicking the [1. Create Model Workbooks] button is the selection of the ending time period for model simulation (dynamic models only – static models do not require this option). The possible ranges are from the base to the ending time period (the last period for which there is exogenous data). A model will not be simulated to the ending period if an earlier period is selected. If the model is to be static (only 1 time period), then the base (beginning) period is chosen as the ending period for simulation. If a model is designed as a static model, the base and ending period will be the same.
