Here in DEMOmodA.xls the Category NUT is eliminated. When the [ß--2. Update Model Variable Selections] button was clicked; variables including the code NUT were excluded from the list of model equations. Equations that refer to the omitted variable will use the base and projected numbers instead of a value generated by an equation. The alternative code A was entered as a label and the [4. Create Alternative Model] button is clicked to complete the creation process. A message appears when the alternative model has been created. Alternative models can be accessed from the menu that comes up when a [Model] button is clicked on a control screen.
