VORSIM models are solved using the Excel add-in Solver. Before the Solver is installed in a model, convergence parameters on this sheet can be changed from these default values. These parameters control the iteration and convergence criteria for the Solver and are absorbed into the Solver when it is installed; this sheet is then removed from the model workbook. These criteria can be changed for a rebuilt model when there are significant problems with the convergence of a model to a solution. A box below the parameters gives information about their use in the Solver.
